Prized in the ancient empires of Egypt, India, Peru and China, the aromatic Jasmine was believed to treat headaches, reduce insomnia and even work as an aphrodisiac. Over the centuries, Jasminum sambac also came to be used to make amazing tea.
After extensive searching, we found just the right Jasmine Green Tea and then paired it with just a touch of lemon and organic cane sugar to create this unique and refreshing drink. With over 320mg of anti-oxidant flavonoids and less than half the sugar of many other bottled beverages, it not only tastes amazing, it’s good for you too.

Living in Seattle, the coffee capital of the world, it is no surprise that we often find ourselves brewing up some daily java in addition to cup after cup of tea. In an effort to reconcile these two great loves, I introduced the staff to a drink called Yin Yang: a sweetened blend of coffee and tea popular all over Asia. They could not believe their taste buds.
Once the latest creation was on the board, our staff began bringing in their favorite beans for testing. We eventually decided that Kaladi Brothers' Red Goat Blend coffee made for the perfect blend. The result is a delicate dance of two of the world's most passionate beverages.

Herbal Chrysanthemum

Technically, our Herbal Chrysanthemum is a "tisane" rather than a "tea" as it does not contain the leaves of camellia sinesis. However, the term tea has come to include any non-coffee or chocolate beverage infused in hot water. The chrysanthemum is known as one of the four "superior" flowers of China and have been cultivated there as far back as the 15th century B.C. This elegant tasting and beautiful flower was brought to the West in the 17th century where it gained it Latin name chrys – anthemum which means, Golden Flower.
We’ve selected the very best of these golden flowers and brewed them with just a touch of organic cane sugar and purified water to produce a buttery-smooth, naturally caffeine-free tea that is light and refreshing. Throughout Asia, many people drink Herbal Chrysanthemum instead of coffee, as they believe it harmonizes the Yin and Yang and cools the body.

Sencha Green Tea

Often called the "Shogun of green teas", our unsweetened Japanese Green Sencha uses only whole-leaf, JAS certified tea grown in the Shizuoka Prefecture. Sencha is so popular that it represents 75% of all tea grown in Japan yet it is still somewhat new to the Western world where it's attracting new tea lovers everyday.
We've chosen this particular Sencha for its' high antioxidant levels (over 325mg per bottle!) and superior flavor. Japanese Green Sencha's clean, clear taste pairs wonderfully with many rich foods, or can be enjoyed on its own.

High Mountain Oolong
Premium, unsweetened tea from the Taiwanese oolong leaves
All black tea is simply oxidized green tea and the delightful Oolong is the halfway point between them. The term means "black dragon" in Chinese and may refer to the celestial taste that results from waking the dark, curled leaves with hot water. Legend also has it that there are ten thousand varieties of Oolong and each estate prepares its own through a complex combination of drying, tumbling and bruising.
We selected this exceptional Oolong grown in the mist shrouded, high mountains of Taiwan to brew up an outstanding, unsweetened tea with 312 mg antioxidant flavonoids to detoxify the body and clarify the mind.
